Diane Alpers Leven

Diane Alpers Leven is the Director of the Los Pasitos Early Intervention Agency. She received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from New Mexico State University. She earned her Masters Degree in Education from Lesley University.

Diane has over thirty-three years of experience in public education and has been very involved in Early Childhood Education for the majority of her career. Diane is passionate about working with young children and their families. She earned several awards for her service as a teacher, including the Roswell Top Teacher Award in 2005.

She is the proud Mom of two kids , five step-kids and three grandkids. Diane loves raising the awareness of Early Intervention in her community.

Felicia Juarez

Felicia Juarez is the Director of Children’s Services for Tobosa Developmental Services. Felicia earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology, and her Masters of Social Work, from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM. She has worked in the Social Work field for over twenty-one years.

Felicia has worked with the Los Pasitos team for over three years in several roles. She started as a Family Service Coordinator. Then, she became an Intake Evaluation Coordinator. Then she was the Director of Little Steps Learning Center. Now, as the Director of Children’s Services, she oversees all children’s programming for Tobosa.

Felicia is the proud mother and step-mother of five amazing young people. Felicia loves working with children and their families. She feels that it is an honor to be part of the Tobosa, Los Pasitos, and Little Steps Family.

Nancy Hidalgo

Nancy Hidalgo is a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, or COTA, who has worked in Early Intervention for 13 years. She has an Associates Degree in Certified Occupational Therapy. She graduated from ENMU-R in 2006.

Nancy loves her job working with children and families and sharing her knowledge and experience with her co-workers.

Nancy and her husband are the parents to a daughter and a son, five grandchildren and they all live in Roswell. She enjoys spending time with her family. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and crocheting.

Pat Jones

Pat Jones has been an employee of Tobosa and Los Pasitos for over 23 years. She has worked as both a Family Service Coordinator and a Developmental Specialist. She enjoys working with families. She especially enjoys helping families and children through the early intervention process, and seeing children grow throughout their time in the program.

Pat has been involved with Tobosa and Los Pasitos long enough that she’s been able to see many children grow into adults. One of her favorite things to do is learn where they are now and to see how well they’ve done.

Pat has been married over 44 years. She has two children, a boy and a girl; three grandbabies, and two great-grandsons. Pat also loves to play bingo.

Gwyn Burd

Gwyn Burd is a Speech Language Pathologist at Los Pasitos Early Intervention. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders from Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, New Mexico.

Gwyn has over 14 years of experience working in the Dexter and Roswell Public Schools as a Speech Therapist servicing children from pre-school age through high school. She began working part time at Los Pasitos after school and in the summers for several years. In 2012, Gwyn became a full-time employee for Los Pasitos as a Speech Therapist. Over the years, Gwyn has also worked part-time for Frontier Medical Home Health Agency working with the older adult population delivering speech therapy services.

Gwyn is a proud mother of two children, three cats, and one dog. Gwyn enjoys working with the Birth to 3 Year population at Los Pasitos assisting families and children with communication delays.

Krista Quiroz

Krista Quiroz works with Los Pasitos as a Developmental Specialist, Advanced. She has an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, and has been working in Early Intervention since 2000.

Krista loves working with the families and children served by Los Pasitos. She is passionate about her work and dedicated to making a difference in the life of every family she works with.

Krista is the mother of three daughters, and also has two young grandsons. She loves spending time with her close-knit family. Her youngest daughter is a member of the Charlie’s Angels Dance Team (two-time National Champions) which makes Krista a ‘very busy Dance Mom’.
